As August and September roll in, it's time to get excited as travel bloggers start sharing their stunning photos of journeys along winding roads, through terraced rice fields, and check-ins on social media groups.
Where to Find the Most Instagrammable Rice Terraces:
* La Pán Tẩn Commune: This spot boasts incredibly steep roads and offers breathtaking views of the rice terraces from above.
* Mâm Xôi Hill: A must-visit for anyone in Mu Cang Chai. Don't miss the sugarcane juice and soft-boiled eggs here – they're absolutely delicious! For the best lighting, visit in the late afternoon.
* Móng Ngựa Hill: Though I didn't get to stop here, I've heard great things about the photo opportunities.
* Mũi Giày: On the way to La Pán Tẩn Commune, take a moment to capture the local children going about their day.
* Nhà Ngô (Corn House): I haven't been here yet, but I've seen photos of houses decorated with corn cobs – it looks amazing!
* Bamboo Forest: This is close to my homestay, but laziness got the better of me.
There are many more beautiful photos from my Northwest Vietnam trip. I'll share them in a later post!
Thanks to Riri Phương Trình for sharing these tips in the Check in Vietnam group.
